Hungry

So I reaaaaally haven't been following my diet as strictly as I said I would. It all started when I got sick since after my last post about dieting. I have been eating whatever lately, but at the same time making sure I'm not over doing it.

Yesterday Ron said that it looks like that I am losing weight. Thanks hun. Then today I was talking to an old friend and we talked about my schedule and she asked me, "Geez girl! When do you have time to eat?!" I was like, man, I eat too much! I tried dieting, but I don't know.

That pushed me to go on to the scale today. I had to go on it a few times. At first I thought it was broken. I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm down to 130 pounds. Whoa baby! So I've lost 12 pounds! =D

I'll just keep going! I'm so happy!

"New" Clothes

Sick as a dog .. is what I have been this past few days.

I literally was sweating out of my clothes. I would wake up drenched in sweat (sorry if it's TMI!). I came home Monday from work and was just moaning and groaning from not feeling well. My loving dogs stayed by my side. For every cough, Stitch's head would pop up and he would look at me as if he was saying, "Are you okay?". And every time I moved in bed, Lilo would come sniffing me to check if I was still alive. I love my dogs.

So I've been totally fighting it. I've been going to work and all that too! My job requires a lot of standing, talking, and sometimes yelling. LOL. I thought I wouldn't be able to recover.

I was so upset because I had just started my diet and here I was sick and in need of nourishment. So far i've only been having small meals/snacks during the day and a big meal for dinner, which was not part of my diet plan, but since I'm sick, I needed to.

Considering that I usually weigh myself early in the morning before I have eaten/drank anything, I decided to weigh myself tonight (out of curiosity). I was afraid to step on the scale. When I did, I kept getting off of it and going back on it. I just couldn't believe it. I'm down to 135 (starting at approx. 142 in the beginning of January). 7 pounds down! Wahoo!! I basically lost 2 pounds this week. I don't know if it's because I'm sick or because of what I haven't been eating/drinking.

I decided to try on my "old" clothes. They fit without me having to stretch them out! So I have new clothes! ;D

10 more pounds and I'll be good!

Engagement Session, Diet

My engagement photo attire is complete. I found cute white flat shoes at target to match my attire. I thought to myself, "Why the heck would I wear heels at the beach?" Embarrassing though cause I found the shoes in the kids section. I tried on a size 5 and holy moly they didn't fit. So, I am officially a size 4.5 in kid shoes. =X

I forgot to mention that I will be starting my rigorous diet tomorrow. I have managed to lose 5 pounds and maintain it since the beginning of January. Now it's time to get to it!

The highest weight I hit was about 160lbs at a size 13 (around 2002). Not good for someone who is only 4'9. I managed to go from a size 13 to a size 2 (at 113 pounds) in approximately 8 months. I managed to stay that way for about a year, until I got laid off from my job of 5 years. I went up to at least 145 (2006) after that and now I am currently 137 pounds. All I want to lose is 10 pounds and at least hit a size 6. Right now I'm a size 8. I have lost weight in certain places because my size 8 pants that I had just bought before going on my no rice or soda diet are now loose (wahoo!). I am determined and excited! I know I can do it!!!
