We're Married!

Click for better viewing.

It's been two days and it's hard to believe that we're married. Honeymoon starts next Monday. =)
Thanks to our friends who took these photos. Our professional photographer loved working with us so much that he offered us a gift..a free photo shoot at Disneyland. He said he's never worked with such a fun couple who was down for anything. =D

Blog on the whole wedding later. =) We've been trying to fix the apartment. As of right now, our entertainment system. I got Ron a 42" plasma TV. My brother got us a home theater system. And Ron's sister got us a PS3. We're totally set! Haha!

Oh .. and can you say ... CHA-CHING! Ron and I tried opening our envelopes the night of the wedding...1/4 thru we were tired and we were surprised to see that we were up 10Gs. =X Let's just say we received back everything we spent (not including the reception that my parents covered) + more. Total shocker. We didn't want to keep the money in our hands so we went straight to the bank today and even the bank teller was shocked. It was crazy.

Some Planning Stuff

I will start my post off with our gifts. ALOT of gifts! I am a gift giver! I love giving gifts! Love my pink and orange totes for my girls? =D I would love to show you what's inside, but I'm afraid you'll just have to wait til Thursday.

My Flower Girl Gift Bag

They will be wearing a tiara to match their cute dress. =D
For Our Moms
I would have loved to get them in pink, but in all honesty I don't think they'd use it. So we got one mom a white and brown one and the other mom a brown and brown one. =)

For Our Dads
I'd have to say shopping for men is harder than shopping for women! We knew we wanted to get our dad an everyday watch, but we were definetly on a budget. It took us forever to buy a watch for these two! For one, my dad has all the watches in the world and I don't know if anything can compare to his gazillion Rolex watches, so it was really hard for me to find a good everyday one. On the other hand, Ron's dad is glued to the watch he currently uses. So here they are...

For Ron's Dad:

And for my daddy..

Some other wedding stuff!

Escort Cards
Table Placement Stuff
Everything for each table was placed in a manila envelope for each table. Easier for my coordinator to place everything. =D Here you see the envelope, coloring book/crayons, place cards, and table number. What you don't see is the menu card, which I already put in. =D

The Programs
It's only a total of 3 pages!! It has ALL the readings in it too!
Behind the whole "love is..", when Ron and I first started dating he would clip out those comic strips and put it in our letters so it just stuck with us thru out the years. There are 4 different "love is" comics on our programs. =D (I didn't include one of the pages, because it had EVERYONE's name on it).

For our Money Dance
Instead of pinning the money onto us, they will place it in these "baskets" which my Jr. Bridesmaids will be holding.
The Coins
The Ring Pillow
*note to self---> Get Ron's promise ring!*
The Snack Bags which will be passed out AFTER the ceremony.

We made about 200 bags and each bag is only about $0.75 each!

The packing crew.
Moral support...haha..

This is part of the escort table where the escort cards will be placed in front of the frames. The left side are my grandparents, and parents wedding photos, and vice versa for Ron. It's a somewhat a surprise for his grandparents. =)
Pardon my wannabe fan napkin. Adult place setting
Kids place setting.

Well I'm off to pick up my dress! It got steamed. =)

One more week!

"Life is not perfect. You will make mistakes, but each time you meet life's challenges together, you will grow wiser, stronger, and surer of your love."

Sometimes I get mad at myself for being too forgiving. I get mad and upset, but in the end I always forgive. Sometimes too easily. I mean, yeah I'm hurt and I'll have that in the back of my mind until it disappears, but I don't know if it's a good thing that I forgive easily and quickly. I've learned to speak my mind though because I feel that if I don't, the situation will only get worse. I don't want people to think, "Hey you hurt me, so you can hurt me again because I didn't say how I felt and I forgave you." It ain't going to work like that anymore.

Just a random rant. =)

I know I've been MIA but so much has been going on these past few weeks.

We finally spoke to our new priest who is so kick back compared to our previous one, though I will miss our previous one.

Last day of the school year was last, last Thursday. Same day, I officially got hired as a 6th grade teacher. What a way to start our married life! =D

My 6th graders and I. Teachers vs. 6th graders at a softball game. Teachers kicked butt.

I had a pre-bachelorette dinner with two of my girlfriends. Then last weekend I had my bachelorette weekend in San Diego which consisted of lollipop penis, drag queens, the beach, kinky toys, and pole dancing....yes pole dancing. I don't have that many photos. I'm still waiting on them from the other girls.

Ducks in our "backyard!"

Our "backyard."

Yes, those two are men. The one in the pink was gorgeous!

Since Monday I've been like the energizer bunny .. on wedding mode. Monday, I don't even remember what the heck I did.

Tuesday, met with our DJ. We have the coolest DJ! He DJs the Ducks and the Angel game AND he's even in theKnot magazine because theKnot had requested him to DJ one of their lovely parties. I'm so excited! After that, my niece and I had time to kill so we went to Victoria Gardens and bought myself a "just in case something spills on my wedding dress" dress. It's just a cute baby doll dress. I don't plan on changing into it, but it's there for emergency purposes. After that, we had my hair trial. I LOVE IT!!! I am so in love with my stylist! Now, my other MOH and even my jr. bridesmaid wants her to do their make-up too! I'm going to have two looks...one for the ceremony and one for the reception. I wish I could post pics, but I don't want to spoil it! So you'll just have to wait and see.

Wednesday ran errands, dropped off my dress to get steamed, and did a walk thru with Darcue,

Thursday, I got my fingerprints done for work and went for a Slim Wrap. I just went for the heck of it and lost a total of 8 inches off my body. I lost 1.5 inches off my freakin' waist! My brother was shocked when I came home cause he said I did look like I lost weight. Woot!

Yesterday I spent the whole day doing wedding stuff and packing up my things. I was getting a little sad packing up my clothes. I can't believe I'll be leaving "home" in a week. I've never left home!

I'm excited. I'm just trying to do my best to make sure everything gets done. =)
